Health and Safety Manager
Our client, a growing Main Contractor, requires a Health & Safety Manager to join their busy team in London.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience working for a leading Main Contractor.
- Proven experience in working as a Health and Safety Manager for a Main Contractor.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong construction knowledge.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Nebosh Certificate in General Health & Safety.
- Knowledge of current Health & Safety Legislation, including CDM.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out safety risks assessments prior to starting a new project.
- Reviewing all work procedures and ensuring they meet industry safety standards
- Preparing and filing reports for accidents and other safety breaches.
- Staying up to date with health, safety, and environment regulations.
- Ensuring safe installation of equipment and overseeing external contractors.
- Conducting in-house training sessions on health and safety awareness.
